The project reflects Marsden’s ongoing commitment to ESG values and sustainable operation. The installation was specifically designed to achieve a 46% reduction in grid electricity consumption, with provision for future battery integration to further enhance energy independence.

Installation took place during a planned weekend shutdown to avoid disruption to critical banking services and server systems, with close collaboration between IT and technical teams.

In preparation for the PV array, substantial roofing work was undertaken, including: replacement of a deteriorating skylight with a new unit, installation of a new roof ridge, removal of an outdated ventilation system, replaced and tiled over for improved integrity. A large scaffold system was required to facilitate the rooftop works, requiring council permits due to public pavement use. The site setup included a secure compound and welfare facilities, ensuring full segregation from customer areas and maintaining uninterrupted business operations throughout the project.
