Location matters: A simple screenshot goes a long way #
It might seem like an apparent request, but providing a Google Maps screenshot or an aerial image of your site is crucial, especially if you have multiple locations or manufacturing facilities that differ from your registered address. By reviewing your location, we can ensure any proposed system is designed for the correct site, considering factors like MPAN locations, roof conditions, and even aesthetic preferences. If you need a hand marking up a screenshot, just let us know, we’re happy to help before we dive into the design phase.
Half-hourly data (HHD): The key to a smarter energy strategy #
One of the most valuable pieces of information you can provide is your Half-Hourly Data (HHD). Your current energy supplier can usually provide this in a simple spreadsheet with a quick call or email. This data, showing your energy usage in 30-minute intervals, helps us analyze your consumption patterns, whether they’re steady throughout the day or fluctuate significantly.
By reviewing 12 months of HHD, we can identify peaks, troughs, and seasonal trends, allowing us to recommend the most effective renewable solution for your operations. If complete data isn’t available, don’t worry, we can work with partial figures or estimate usage based on 12 months of energy bills in the absence of HHD. While not quite as precise, it still gives us a solid foundation for analysis.
Energy bills & contract duration: The missing piece of the puzzle #
While we’ll likely discuss your current energy pricing, we’ll also need at least one recent energy bill to perform a detailed cost-saving analysis. This allows us to pinpoint your actual per/kWh rate and demonstrate the financial impact of integrating renewable technology.
Additionally, knowing your contract duration helps us project potential savings until your agreement ends. We use a custom out-of-contract prediction model if your contract is nearing renewal (or you don’t have one in place).
