Green Shield Group has announced a partnership with Solfit. The new partnership provides specialised solar carports for organisations with limited roof space the opportunity to harness green energy.
Our new partnership with Solfit makes us an officially recommended installer and distribution partner for the most efficient carport solution on the market. Having seen vast adoption already in Europe, becoming Solfit’s recommended UK installation partner will allow us to oversee a smooth rollout throughout the UK.
Representatives from our leadership team, alongside some of our franchise representatives, flew out to Zwolle in the Netherlands to meet the Solfit team. During the trip, the team were able to finalise details and logistics as well as see a large carport in action. This trip showcased the potential of carports and their adoption in other countries, this included the fascinating option of an additional water harvesting option not only making use of sunlight, but also of rainwater. Another green initiative, heavily present in Europe, that many in the UK haven’t even considered.
