It's been a busy start to 2026 at Green Shield Group, and we're excited to share some positive news as our team continues to grow.
As more businesses look for ways to reduce energy costs, improve sustainability performance and strengthen energy resilience, the demand for our services has grown significantly. To meet that demand, we’ve brought two brilliant new people on board: George Louis Gray, who joins us as Solar PV Designer, and Georgia Alvey, our new Digital Marketing Executive.
Both appointments reflect something we genuinely believe in: that the quality of the service we deliver starts with the people behind it.
Supporting Green Shield Group Growth and More Renewable Energy Projects
George joins our technical team and will play a role in designing commercial solar PV systems for businesses across the UK.Â
Whether it’s helping a business reduce its reliance on grid electricity or building long-term energy resilience, George’s work will have a direct impact on the renewable energy solutions we deliver for our clients.
Strengthening Our Marketing and Communications
We’re also thrilled to welcome Georgia to the team. She joins us at a time of real momentum for the business, and her role will be central to how we share our story, from the projects we’re proud of to the ideas and insights that matter most to our clients and partners.
Georgia will lead on content, brand presence and thought leadership, helping to strengthen Green Shield Group’s voice within the renewable energy and sustainability sector.
Commenting on the appointments, Managing Director Jonathan Harrison said:
“2026 has started very strongly for the business, with a significant increase in project activity and customer demand across our renewable energy and sustainability services.
As our pipeline continues to grow, investing in both technical delivery and customer engagement is essential to maintaining the level of service and expertise our clients expect.
We are delighted to welcome George and Georgia to the team and look forward to continuing Green Shield Group’s growth throughout the rest of the year.”
