From analysis to optimisation: A tailored approach to your renewable investment #
After your initial conversation with your sustainability manager, our technical team will dive into analysing your location, energy usage, and current billing. By combining your energy data with the characteristics of your property, we’ll identify the best renewable technology to meet your specific needs.
Throughout this process, we focus on your direct objectives. We treat every renewable investment like it’s our own. This means we won’t over-specify technologies, and we’ll always justify the solutions we recommend in our final proposal. If you make a request outside our usual process, we’ll be happy to offer advice and guide you, but rest assured, we can provide technology to meet almost any requirement.
Desktop analysis #
At this stage, we may need additional details about your premises and roof condition to get our pricing as close to reality as possible without needing an engineer on-site. By combining this data with global mapping tools like Google Maps and Google Earth, we can generate a highly accurate proposal. For locations that are yet to be built, we can place your building plans in the exact location and produce an analysis based on this.
Feasibility study #
Once we’ve confirmed that your location is suitable for renewable technology, your journey will be passed to our design team. They will carefully specify a system that meets your businesses needs.
Our team uses the latest industry-leading solar PV design software and custom analysis tools to deliver precise calculations. A scale model of your premises is created in the software, your energy consumption is mapped to an annual profile, and we assess roof suitability. Many locations will go through several design iterations before arriving at the final solar PV design. We work hard to maximise generation while minimising costs for you.
Optimised return on investment #
Given the current export climate, we rarely suggest “over-sizing” a system, as the return on investment from exporting energy isn’t typically favorable right now. Unless specifically requested, all our systems are designed to operate at a high self-consumption threshold, based on 12 months of historical usage data. This ensures that the energy generated is primarily used on-site, reducing waste and maximising the return on your investment.
